Abstract
Este ensaio aborda a crise dos imaginários dominantes no contexto atual da pandemia de Covid 19. Inicialmente, apresenta-se a concorrência como princípio fundamental do imaginário neoliberal e dos processos de subjetivação contemporâneos para então abordar a crise de tal imaginário provocada mundialmente pelo novo coronavírus. Em seguida, problematizase o retorno ao imaginário da soberania, nacionalista e autoritário, como reação à crise. Como conclusão, o ensaio defende a urgência da solidariedade comum e vital entre os indivíduos em nível institucional, nacional e internacional como forma de superação da crise global.
