The Cost of Labor Power and Expenditures on Training

Abstract

The article by V. Kovyzhenko that appeared in issue No. 1, 1973, and that was devoted to the difficult and important problem of reducing complex labor to simple labor is also of interest in view of the fact that in it the author raised a number of other problems associated with this topic. The discussion centered on the boundaries of productive labor, the interrelationship between the cost of labor power and of services related to its training, the influence of the skill level of workers on increasing the value of commodities produced, the methods of calculating the factor for reducing complex labor to simple under capitalist conditions, etc.
