Abstract

Purpose: As a common disease, osteoarthritis (OA) can lead to joint pain, swelling and even disability, which may be caused by numerous factors. Vitamins, an important component in vivo, has been shown to be associated with a variety of diseases, the concentration of vitamin A and vitamin D in serum was also found to have a connection with the development of OA in recent years, but it is still controversial. Until now, there are no such studies concerning the relationship of vitamin A and KOA in inhabitants of high altitude regions.
