Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the correlation between playground management and the safety in the primary school, Pathumthani province, Thailand. The sample group consisted of parents, teachers in the primary schools, in the area of Pathunthani province, Thailand. Using the random stratifying sampling technique, classified by the types of questionnaires respondents. A sample group of 384 person is from Krejce and Morgan chart. Tools are questionnaires, statistic is by mean, pearson’s simple correlation moment product. From the study it is found that 1) Overall, the levels of primary school playground management are at a moderate level 2) The safety levels in the primary school, Pathumthani, overall, are at a good level 3) The teacher’s opinion on the playground management is higher than that of the parent’s with statistic significant at .01 4) The teacher’s opinion on the safety in the school, is higher than that of the parent’s with statistic significant at .01 and 5) The correlation between the playground management and the safety in the school, overall, is at a very low level with statistic significant at .05, correlation coefficient at .123.
