Abstract

A corporate campaign is the most aggressive initiative carried out by the labor movement. It is a comprehensive strategy targeting an employer or entire industry through legal action, economic tactics, public relations attacks, community organizing, and political warfare. These campaigns have often succeeded in compelling targeted employers to recognize unions without benefit of a traditional National Labor Relations Board election.
