Abstract

An area in North Central B.C. has been characterized as having unusually low levels of DTPA-extractable soil Cu, and of Cu in grass and legume forage materials, in relation to other agricultural areas in B.C. The results account for the occurrence of Cu deficiency in cattle, and may contribute to difficulties in alfalfa production.
