Marine economy has become an important part of our national economy, which requires us to constantly coordinate the development of marine economy and social economy. The marine economy plays a great role in promoting the social and economic development of coastal areas, which has become the governing goal of governments at all levels. At present, with the gradual decrease of land available resources and population expansion, marine economy has become an important direction of sustainable development in the future, which leads us to rely more on marine economy. Therefore, we must strengthen the coordination between marine economy and social economic development, which will promote the healthy and sustainable development of our society. Firstly, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the coordination between marine economy and social economic development. Then, this paper analyzes the coordination model. Finally, this paper constructs the index of coordination degree of marine economy and social economy development.
