Abstract
O estudo acerca da Convencao das Igrejas Batistas Independentes de Lingua Alema, e das igrejas que que pertencem a ela, mostra a importância de se analisar as comunidades religiosas presentes no Brasil, que pelas suas caracteristicas compoem espacos regionais, e manifestam um intenso trânsito cultural que e vivenciado e difundido pelas mesmas. As comunidades religiosas se tornam pequenas regioes culturais e de manutencao destas tradicoes que lhes e caracteristica.
