Abstract
The work is dedicated to the development of control system for implantable left ventricle assist device based on mechatronic units. An algorithm for determining the control parameters is described. A comparative analysis of different types of step-control law on energy consumption is conducted. Three variants of implementation of the control system based on the proposed functional diagram are considered; their comparative evaluation is provided. The results of the dynamics simulation of the mechatronic unit are present. The control law, which provides the required dynamics in cardiac output, is defined. A tabular variant of control algorithm implementation of mechatronic module is offered. The hardware implementation of digital control system is described.
