Abstract

This article discusses the efforts of the ruling party in Turkestan to attract local women to education in the early years of Soviet rule, as well as Tatar teachers who worked as teachers in Uzbek women’s schools and shortterm illiteracy courses. its activities are covered on the basis of periodicals and archival sources.
