Abstract

This research aims to analyze the issue of emphasizing that the liberalization of air transport in peripheral countries would improve their air services, and thus link them with the global system. In order to achieve this purpose, we have analyzed a number of free agreements between the peripheral countries and the central countries and explained their impact on the air transport offer. As a result of this analysis, we have seen mixed results. The air supply has increased in these countries, but by a greater percentage with the United States of America and less with other countries on the one hand. On the other hand, we witnessed a large increase in the air transport service for a number of countries linked to a bilateral agreement.
