Abstract
With the acceleration of urbanization, the impact of urban planning anddesign on urban development is becoming more and more important. A reasonable urbanplanning design not only helps to improve the quality of living environment. butalso can promote the sustainable development of urban economy. In the process ofurban planning and design in reality, there are some problems and challenges which are influenced by various factors. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the content, key points and the relationship between urban planning and urban-rural planning, in order to achieve a deeper level of thinking and learning about rational urban planning and design.
