Abstract

The contents of rosmarinic acid and phenolic compounds were studied in 13 habitats of Prunella vulgaris L. and in 6 habitats of Prunella grandiflora L. in the Middle and Southern Urals. Studies have shown that P. grandiflora and P. vulgaris are promising sources of phenolic compounds and rosmarinic acid. By HPLC method, P. grandiflora showed higher content of rosmarinic acid than P. vulgaris in the Middle and Southern Urals.
