Abstract

For O( N)-symmetric spin models in the spontaneously broken phase, we study the distribution of the mean field Φ=V −1fd dx φ(x) at large volume. We use results from chiral perturbation theory to show that this distribution obeys a scaling law. The shape of the constraint effective potential is determined in the scaling limit.
