Abstract
The subject of this paper is the low-Earth orbit satellite telephone system being developed by Constellation Communications, Inc. (CCI). The paper provides a brief business background and description of Constellation's planned services and satellite system. The business background quantifies the projected number of subscribers for mobile satellite services, and highlights Constellation's discriminators from potential competitors. The services and system descriptions highlight the services to be provided by the Constellation System, and describe the various elements of the System's space and ground segment.
