Abstract
The recent vertical crustal movements in the Carpatho-Balkan Region (CBR) have been examined permanently since the 60s. As result of the investigations the map of vertical movements of this area was published in 1979, and its developed version appeared in 1985 and the newest one was the map of horizontal gradients of vertical velocities (1992).
