Abstract

The article examines the scientific path of the scientists of the Russian legal science, whose professional life, by the will of inexhaustible scientific search, was connected with two law schools — Kazan University and the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law. The interweaving of doctrinal ideas not only generated an indissoluble connection of these scientific and educational institutions, but also formed for many years the most relevant scientific interdisciplinary agenda. Particular attention is paid to the continuity of legal knowledge in the context of the chronology of scientific research and from the perspective of the development of the teachers' ideas by students (graduate students). The versatility of cooperation between the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law and Kazan Federal University at the present stage, contributing to the development of domestic legal science and practice, is emphasized.
