Abstract

Over 150 delegates and visitors from some fifty different countries and states met together in the Guildhall, Cambridge, for the 1975 Conference of Commonwealth Survey Officers. The Conference Standing Committee, under their chairman and Conference President, Mr. D. E. Warren, C.M.G., had obviously worked hard and well to organise a varied technical and professional programme. Since most papers had been distributed beforehand, and many of these had obviously been read by delegates, enough time was usually available for informal discussions; in fact, this particular Conference was notable for the large number of different persons taking part in discussions.
