Abstract
AbstractExperimental weak‐field galvanomagnetic data are used to determine some conduction band parameters (the ratios of the effective mass tensor components mi/mj, the tilt angle of the principal axes of the constant energy ellipsoids, and the degeneracy parameter) using the many‐valley model of the band structure for n‐Bi2Te3 and its solid solutions. The charge carrier scattering mechanism is discussed. It is shown that the scattering parameter is not equal to −0.5, e.g. the value specifies for the acoustic scattering mechanism. The effective scattering parameter reff is calculated and its temperature and concentration dependences are found.
