Abstract

Various approaches to the content content of the concept of "new economy" are considered, the complex of related categories at different stages of the formation of the modern socio-economic system correlated with it is analyzed. Based on the comparative analysis carried out, it is conclud-ed that the interpretation of the "new economy" as a socio-economic formation corresponds to the modern realities of socio-economic development, the driving productive forces of which are the knowledge and skills of human capital carriers, information resources, as well as modern technol-ogies manifested in providing filling manufactured goods and services with additional consumer value that is not available in conditions of mass industrial production.
