Abstract

The article presents the concept of social work by Helena Radliskas (18791954). This theory can be a source of inspiration for new generations of social workers for its practical application, as well as for researchers currently dealing with both social work and, in a broader context, social policy. The author shows the selected achievements of this prominent as well as illustrates the most important views of Radliska, relevant for the development of science and the practice of social welfare at that time. In addition, it is important to present the relationship of this concept with pedagogical praxeology in the area of effectiveness of actions.
