Abstract

The concept of building sensorless systems for monitoring the load of electromechanical equipment is proposed based on the possibility of determining the instantaneous value of mechanical power based solely on the values of currents and flow connections that determine the operating modes of the machine. A criterion for evaluating the efficiency of an electric machine is proposed in the form of an optimal energy conversion mode, characterized by the theoretically maximum achievable level of the developed mechanical power of energy conversion. It is shown that it is possible to determine the mechanical power developed by an alternating current electric machine based on the flow coupling associated with the winding and the current flowing in this winding. The optimal phase shift angles for the motor and generator modes of operation of an electromechanical energy Converter, which form the maximum mechanical power of energy conversion, are determined.
