Abstract

In the work of any political philosopher and thinker, one can always find not only his ideas of the structure of society, but also a certain goal of its development, what we call a social ideal. It is not always clearly written out and precisely formulated, but even in the absence of straight-forward appeals to it, it is invisibly present in the entire work of the author. In the case of Alexander Bogdanov, we can say that his social ideal is formulated in the novel "Red Star". The purpose of the article is to show its historical roots and the difference from other Bolshevik concepts.
