Abstract
AbstractThis chapter examines the compulsory education policy development from the perspective of curriculum and teaching materials. The effective implementation of compulsory education curriculum and teaching materials policy are related to the quality of the national population, which is an important reflection of the comprehensive strength of the country, and is also an important way to protect the basic educational rights of school-age children and promote the all-round development of children. The hierarchical management system of curriculum and teaching materials established since the Reform and Opening-up is an important embodiment of China’s compulsory education curriculum and teaching materials policy.
