Abstract
Home-school connection is an eminent aspect regarding child educational outcomes. In this connection, the current study endeavors various aspects of home-school connection along with its positive and encouraging outcomes. The study has been carried out in Charssada, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The study has been framed under pure qualitative research design. Sampling for the study has been done purposively whereby 38 samples have been interviewed thoroughly. The interviews have been narrated and linked with existing information in order to produce authentic findings. The findings of the study revealed that: There are many components of home-school connection primarily including parent-teacher contact; sharing exam and behavior related information, home work help etc. The study indicates that numerous factors affect home-school connection whereby low income and higher levels of poverty within family are the significant ones. The findings of the study avow that there are many positive outcomes of home-school connection. For instance, improvement in test scores, exam performance as well as behavior is the outcome of frequent home-school contact.
