Abstract

In the contemporary world, there is a pressing need to honor the Ego, the Self and the Soul, and to recognize the ways in which the Ego should be re-educated (not eliminated) when higher-order transcendent functions are developed. Every part of us, the kingdom that we are, depends on the proper functioning of another part. Our post-experimental thinking systems and motivation and action systems coexist, therefore, in a paradoxical union one is "modern"; the other, archaic, one is scientific; the other, traditional, even superstitious. We became atheistic in our description, but remained obviously religious—that is, moral in our inclinations. What we accept as true and the way we act are no longer proportional.
