Abstract

A bond-diluted transverse ferromagnetic spin- 1 2 and spin-l system with crystal field is considered in the framework of the Ising model. The effective field theory and decoupling approximation are applied to derive the expressions of magnetizations for honeycomb lattice. New compensation behaviors and various magnetization curves are obtained in a certain range of bond concentration, transverse field and crystal field values. Some phenomena are not predicted by the Néel theory of ferrimagnetism. The influence of the various parameters on compensation behaviors is discussed in detail.
