Abstract

This study investigated the adequacy of linking the English test of ITED and the ACT score by using linear, parallel-linear, and equipercentile methods. The results show that the group invariance is satisfied for ACT-E and ITED-EX using the parallel linear or equipercentile method. The reason that this property can hold is probably the content specification of the two tests are very similar to each other. But it does not mean that the score can be used interchangeably of ACT-E and ITED-EX score in practice. Discussions of the results are provided in the end.
