Abstract

The education method has changed drastically throughout the centuries. In the early days, it is a taboo for non- engineering student to take engineering subject in their course and vice versa. The perception is that the student's will not able to understand the subject thus leading to obtaining bad results or maybe fail in the subject. However, the exposure of students learning subject that are not in their major programme will bring an added value to them. The students will have some knowledge on something that is not in their major programme. This is not a new thing; engineering students have to take an entrepreneur subject in their programme. The difference is that the entrepreneur courses has been suited to fit the shoes of engineering course. This research studies about a fully non-change syllabus of an engineering subject taught to non-engineering students. The same syllabus is used for engineering students. Two attribute attainments of the students were recorded and compared, which is PO1 and PO7. A total of 102 students as the samples has been analysed and it showed that the achievement of the non-engineering students is almost at par with engineering students.
