Abstract

The combination of physiological and traditional user test techniques to evaluate social networks on various technological platforms Combining physiological with traditional usability testing techniques to evaluate social networks on a variety of technological platforms. The aim is to compare the usage of a popular social network (Twitter) on three platforms, namely the computer, the cellphone and iPad. The usability (effectiveness, efficiency, user satisfaction) is measured by means of a heart-rate monitor, Emotiv technology, questionnaires and observations. The usability of these platforms is determined based on data analysis.
