Abstract

By combining new media art to express art, the aesthetics of art can be presented more intuitively. Such a combination allows art forms to become more diverse than Chinese traditional art and deepens understanding and perception of art. This study aims to make audiences experience the unique charm of ancient Chinese art and music through the new form of media art and create real-time interaction between the audience, music, and screen using traditional Chinese rhythm. This study explores the various ways to combine traditional art and new media art and enhance the latter’s aesthetic effect. With rapid economic development, science and technology have progressed to a great extent. The proposed work includes not only the conventional five-tone scales in the traditional Chinese rhythm but also the traditional musical art itself. In addition, by increasing the spectrum of application of traditional art forms, recognition and understanding of Chinese musical rhythm can be widened worldwide.
