Abstract
We suggest a continuous-variable (CV) operation that is able to perform perfectly squeezing of specific Gaussian states with unknown mean value of the single quadrature if we have two identically prepared systems in these states. Since this operation cannot be perfectly implemented using only a single copy of the state, we demonstrate the possible usefulness of the collective Gaussian operations in CV quantum information processing. Both single-mode and two-mode squeezing procedures are discussed.
