view Abstract Citations (3) References (49) Co-Reads Similar Papers Volume Content Graphics Metrics Export Citation NASA/ADS The CO Luminosity Function of Galaxies Verter, Frances Abstract The CO luminosity function that was originally derived by Verter is here reevaluated for a galaxy sample that is drawn from the published portion of the FCRAO Extragalactic CO Survey satisfying B^0^_T_<= 12 mag. The derived CO luminosity function is approximately a power law [L_CO_]alpha^, with α~-1.3. This is consistent with previous galaxy luminosity functions in the blue and infrared, and with correlations between L_CO_ and L_B_ or L_IR_.
