Abstract
The title complex was obtained by reacting [(η 6-C 6H 6)(η 6-C 6Me 6) 2Ru 3(μ 2-H) 3(μ 3-O)] + with RuCl 3· nH 2O in aqueous solution; it crystallises as the tetrafluoroborate salt. The cationic cluster is formed of two tetrahedral Ru 4 substructures which are held together by two chloro bridges.
