Abstract

Objective To investigate and evaluate the effect of continuous blood purification therapy for patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) . Methods 19 patients with MODS in ICU were treated with continuous veno -venous hemodiafiltration (CVVHDF) for 24~72 hours. Blood internal environment, vital signs, dialysis channel and fluids balance were monitoring strictly. Results The levels of BUN and Cr were decreased distinctly, the electrolyte and acid -base balance were maintained, and the haemodynamics was improved. Conclusions During the treatment of CBP, proficient mastering the operating techniques, strict monitoring the vital signs, parameters of patients'condition could elevate the effect of continuous blood purification therapy.
