Abstract

Objective To provide nonverbal communication to the patients who have language barriers to communication and a clear sense, to meet their physical, psychological needs. Methods By understanding Mental activities of the patients, useing body language,space, touching and hand-written sheet, photographs for nonverbal communication. Results Nonverbal communication met the needs of patients, reduced in patients with the incidence of mental disorders. The patient's satisfaction 94.73% shows nonverbal communication can help patients in improving the confidence to overcome illness and improve the survival rate.Conclusions By using nonverbal communication as a vehicle to carry out a silent message,we can improve the nurse-patient relationship, improve the quality of nursing and the emotional stability of the patients, reduce psychological burdens of the patients, and promote the patients' rehabilitation.
