Abstract
A roundtable discussion was held on 17 March and 28 April 1992 in the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, devoted to the basic issues of the history of the Civil War in Russia as set forth in the Academic Council in a paper by Russian Academy of Sciences Corresponding Member Iu. A. Poliakov (an abridged form of the paper was published in Otechestvennaia istoriia, no. 6 [1992]).
