Abstract
A list of the species of cicadas known to date to occur in Iran is catalogued. Cicadatra bistunensis sp.n. and Tettigetta dlabolai sp.n. are described and compared to their close relatives. Thirty-eight species in 14 genera from 7 tribes of the 3 subfamilies of the family Cicadidae constitute the recorded cicada fauna of Iran.
