Abstract

A gaseous mixture of hydrogen, deuterium, tritium, deuterium hydride, and tritium hydride were separated on a single chromatographic column. The column material was a rnixture of 150 to 200 mesh alumina and ferric hydroxide. The column was constructed of 7-mm Pyrex glass tubing 24 ft long and coiled to fit into a dewar jar filled with liquid nitrogen. (M.C.G.)
