Abstract

Urinary proteoses from cancerous cases and normal subjects fractionated on Ecteola-cellulose contain different components of complex constitution. Experimental conditions were established for subsequent elution of glycopeptides and acid mucopolysaccharides. Paper electrophoretic analysis of the separated components corroborates the complexity of several constitutive fractions. In a search for characteristic abnormal patterns, total polypeptides, total neutral carbohydrates and sialic acid levels were determined in different urinary proteose components.
