Abstract

Interpolation equations which approximate the ITS-90 method for secondary standards and operating platinum resistance thermometers are considered. Possible ways of simplifying this method by reducing the number of calibration points (which considerably reduces the calibration cost) and employing a simpler form of standard function, are shown.
