Abstract

Although Myzus cerasi is sometimes a serious pest of the cherry, and is therefore of economic importance in Great Britain, the life-history has never been completely worked out in the Eastern Hemisphere. A good deal of work has been done upon the species in America, and the life-history is recorded by W. A. Ross1 as it occurs on that continent.
