Abstract
A review is given of the occurrence, preparation, and properties of oxalic acid and the simple oxalates; the general classification, structure, stability, and reactions and reaction kinetics of the complex oxalates; and the analytical and industrial applications of the oxalates. A literature survey is also given which includes 456 references to U. S. and foreign books and journals published through 1959. (P.C.H.)
