Abstract

Twenty-six rainwater samples were collected from a sampling site situated on the Southeastern French Mediterranean coast, over a 9-month period in 1988–1989, to evaluate the atmospheric inputs of trace metals to the Western Mediterranean. Cathodic stripping voltammetry (CSV) was applied to samples before and after UV irradiation to determine the concentrations of dissolved Ni and Co. Results indicated the existence of very stable dissolved organic Ni and Co complexes.
