Abstract

AbstractThe case of a charged dislocation with a saturated region is considered, allowing for the discrete nature of charges and defects on the core of the dislocation. The potential due to the charged dislocation is obtained by combining the results of Kliewer and Koehler with those of Whitworth. The method used in this case to determine the charge on the dislocation, is the same as that of Whitworth.
