Abstract

The research has been done to find out the characteristics of BANDIT (Andesite Rock) at laboratory scale in Laksanamekar village, Bandung. The sample consisted of 6 pieces BANDIT (B, C, D, E, F, and G), comparison to sample A. The research method used geo-electric resistivity with schlumberger configuration which used IPI2WIN Wenner configuration on field scale and experimental method at laboratory scale. Data collection on laboratory scale measurements used four-point probes and Vickers. The data analysis used resistivity test and hardness test used Vikers. Interpretation of the Wenner’s IPI2Win configuration at a target depth of 75 m indicated the value of pseudo-resistivity with finite thickness (top layer) and infinity (bottom layer) with a rms of 1.81%. The results of the laboratory scale measurement showed a decrease of resistivity (351.7±5.3) Ωm and an increase of hardness up to 94% (sample D). This type of rock was a type of dry andesite rocks.
