Abstract

It is reported that disorders of the autonomic nervous system that result in sympathetic failure often cause orthostatic hypotension. The orthostatic hypotension is observed more often in the elderly compared to the young. We examined postural blood pressure and pulse rate changes in the elderly at a comprehensive assessment clinic for the elderly.
