The Changing Nature of Coalition Politics in India: An Analysis

Abstract

The coalition system in India is the main reason for political instability which is not appropriate for our country. But in the new turn that has come in the politics of India in the last years, the coalition government cannot be denied. Regional parties give a very prominent place to local issues and stop the wrong policies and arbitrariness of the government. For the success of the mixed government, it is necessary that the political parties adopt the spirit of public morality by renouncing egoistic personality and indiscipline. There should be a serious discussion between the scholars of Indian constitution and polity and the leaders of political parties on the entire process of formation and working of a coalition government. It has to be considered that how the political instability arising from the politics of mixed government in the state and center can be controlled. So that political parties give importance to social interests by leaving personal interests and try to eliminate corruption.

 भारत में गठबंधन व्यवस्था राजनीतिक अस्थिरता का प्रमुख कारण है जो हमारे देश के लिए उचित नहीं है। परन्तु गत वर्षो में भारत की राजनीति में जो नया मोड़ आया है उसमें गठबंधन की सरकार को नकारा भी नहीं जा सकता। क्षेत्रीय दल स्थानीय मुद्दों को बहुत ही प्रमुख स्थान देते हैं और सरकार की गलत नीतियों एवं मनमानी पर रोक लगाते हैं। मिली-जुली सरकार की सफलता के लिए आवश्यक है कि राजनीतिक दल अहम्वादी व्यक्तित्व और अनुशासनहीनता का त्याग कर सार्वजनिक नैतिकता के भाव को ग्रहण करें। भारतीय संविधान एवं राजव्यवस्था के विद्वानों तथा राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं के बीच मिली-जुली सरकार के गठन और कार्य कारण की समस्त प्रक्रिया पर गंभीर विचार-विमर्श किया जाना चाहिए। इस बात पर विचार करना होगा कि राज्य व केन्द्र में मिली-जुली सरकार की राजनीति से उत्पन्न राजनीतिक अस्थायित्व को किस प्रकार नियंत्रित किया जा सके। जिससे राजनीतिक दल व्यक्तिगत हितों को त्यागकर सामाजिक हितों को महत्व दें और भ्रष्टाचार को खत्म करने का प्रयास करें।
