Abstract
As a mirror to pharmacy, this issue of JAPhA is one sure to be turned to for years to come. Beginning with four reports from the 2004 National Pharmacist Workforce Study, the Science & Practice section also includes several contributions to the pharmacy literature that describe the important and pivotal roles that pharmacists are playing in transforming the sick-care system of the United States into a new model that recognizes and honors the health and wellness so important to the future of the citizens of this country. The “times certainly are a-changin’,” and these articles make clear just how far pharmacy has the potential to go in the coming decade or two.
