Abstract

Background: Coronary flow reserve (CFR) invasively provide information on cardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV) including involvement of intramyocardial small vessels, and dobutamine stress echocardiography noninvasively does it, however, it is hard to do them frequently. Recently, integrated backscatter (IB), the measurement of the ultrasonic energy backscattered from the tissue, has been demonstrated to reflect pathological changes in the tissue noninvasively.
